Enhancement of immunity in the child: basic methods
Every parent wants his baby to be healthy and as little as possible sick. An important role in this is played by improving the immunity of the child. Immunity is the body's ability to resist various infections. There are its following types: specific, which appears after the transferred disease, and congenital. Doctors also allocate artificial immunity, which appears in a person to a certain disease after vaccination. In our country there is a vaccination schedule, according to which every person is vaccinated against the most common diseases.
Increasing immunity in a child with vaccinations is the most reliable way to prevent morbidity.
The very first steps to strengthen immunity can begin as early as birth. One of the most powerful factors of increasing immunity in a child is breastfeeding. The mother's milk contains natural antibodies to many diseases. In addition, breastfeeding allows you to avoid difficulties with the bowel work of the child.
Another way to increase immunity is hardening. It can begin as early as the first month of life. It can be air and sun baths with a total duration of up to 30 minutes. Naturally, the increase in immunity in the child with the help of hardening should be gradual, it should begin with 2-3 minutes, increasing the time interval every day. When dressing a child, it is necessary to follow the golden rule: to put on one layer of clothing more than is worn on yourself.
However paradoxical it may sound, immunity is strengthened in the process of illness - the body learns to react to pathogens, develops specific antibodies against them. Therefore do not try to observe the utmost sterility in the rooms, do not limit your baby in communication with other children, in the knowledge of the world around you.
Increasing the immunity of a child is very important before entering the kindergarten. After all, there he will face a large number of new people, he will live according to the new regime of the day - all this can greatly reduce his immunity. In order to partially compensate for negative moments, accustom the child to the same regime of the day, let the hours of walking, eating, sleeping, if possible coincide with kindergartens. This will save the child's body from the stress associated with changes.
Vitamins also play an important role in this process. To improve immunity, children need to provide a varied diet rich in vitamins and minerals. Very useful for strengthening immunity include the following foods in the child's diet: milk, honey, kefir and yogurt, apples, carrots, beets, parsley, sea fish, turkey, onions and garlic, and wheat rump.
Before applying all these drugs to improve immunity for children, you need to know exactly what the child's protective functions are weakened. This is manifested in the soreness of the baby.
