What to cook for a birthday in nature as a main course? It so happened that in the whole of the former USSR, the main hot meat dish that is cooked on the fire was, is, and, most likely, shashlyk. In the Caucasus - his homeland - mostly grilled lamb skewers. But in our stores more frequent guests are pork, beef and chicken - one of them is prepared by our favorite favorite of all kebabs.
Our summer birthday menu will include pork skewers.
For its preparation, we need:
- 2 kg of pork (rump);
- 4 bulb bulbs;
- seasoning for kebabs;
- tomato - 100 g
Marinate meat in tomato, salt and seasonings. Refrigerate for a few hours.

The recipe for cooking this dish is as simple as it is ingenious. From homemade preparations we will need eggplants (at the rate of 1 vegetable per 1 skewer) and a piece of bacon.
At home, cut eggplants into rings no less than half a centimeter thick, lard - thinner pieces. Vegetables salt. On the spot you will only strung alternately eggplant with lard on skewers and bake in the grill until golden brown. Rotate skewers with vegetables you need with no less zeal than with meat.
However, one should not be limited to baked eggplants. Other vegetables will be excellent on skewers: Bulgarian pepper, tomatoes, onions - all this can be alternated and offered to guests along with it.
