Rapid birth: causes and prevention
There are rapid delivery due to a violation of the contractile function of the walls of the uterus. Initially, they can be protracted, with a poor opening of the cervix and a complex presentation of the fetus. But then begins the rapid advance of the baby on the birth canal. At the same time, the total delivery time can be standard, but with a sharp reduction in the excruciating period. But for joy there are few reasons: they do not do without complications. Most often these are ruptures, bleeding and, most importantly, a danger to the child: it can get a serious injury that can endanger life or lead to disability. Generic activity - a rhythmic contraction of the uterus, lasting several seconds and repeating at regular intervals. Ideally, contractions should be regular with a gradual reduction in the interval between them and elongation.
Genera in any case are divided into three periods, which are clearly separated from a practical point of view. The first of them begins with regular fights, at this time the cervix is opened due to the contraction of the myometrium. This stage is completed by a full disclosure, allowing the presenting part of the fetus to pass through the cervix. This period is the longest, which is completely justified, as it helps to reduce trauma of the birth canal and strong pressure on the child. The second stage - the expulsion of the fetus, it begins after the full disclosure of the cervix and ends with the birth of the child. During this time, the walls of the uterus contract, the crumb moves on in the birth canal, and the mother needs to push to help the baby to be born. This period lasts from 30 minutes to 2 hours. The third stage is the shortest, not more than half an hour. There is a separation of the placenta and its birth, as well as a significant reduction in the uterus.
Rapid births are regulated by the activity of the nervous system and hormones. The last is the preparation of the birth canal. In order for the fetus to pass through them, under the influence of oxytocin, contractions begin. A nervous system begins the formation of a special setting aimed at concentrating the mother's body on the birth of a baby. If this clear interaction is disturbed, pathologies develop. Fast delivery is a hyperdynamic impairment of the contractile capacity of the uterus, that is, it begins to shrink too much. The main characteristics are extremely active myometrium, increased intrauterine pressure, more than five fights within ten minutes. In this situation, the most dangerous is the development of seizures, which can lead to rupture of the uterus. Also, rapid labor is traumatic for the baby and mother, since they are not ready for this yet.
An important factor is the detection of predisposing factors during pregnancy. If a woman is at risk, especially if she already had swift labor, then it is better to go to the hospital before the expected date. If necessary, the doctor can prescribe medications that improve placental blood circulation, and therapy, which relaxes the muscles of the uterus.
