The first days in the kindergarten: how to help the child adapt
According to the legislation of Russia, the age of children, in which it is already possible to stop completely depend on the mother and become pupils of the kindergarten, is 1.5 years. It is up to this point that parents receive a childcare allowance. Many old-school psychologists also say that this is the most optimal time for children to get used to kindergarten, explaining that the child does not have such an age of awareness where he is better, thanks to which the first days in the kindergarten are less painful. But often a kid can hardly adapt in a new environment.
Why there are difficulties in the period of getting used to kindergarten
However, it often happens that the first time a child comes to a kindergarten in 4 years, and even in 5 years. The long queue for getting a place in the municipal children's institution, the mother's ability to be on leave for care until the baby is 3 years old, the assistant grandmother - all play a role. And by this time the baby has already formed the basis of critical thinking, he asks the questions: "Why are they leading me there? Why should I part with my mother? Why should I obey another's aunt? "This complicates his adaptation in the early days of kindergarten. However, you can always find a way to carefully prepare the soil so that children are painlessly accustomed to a new life. When the decision to give the baby to the kindergarten is already taken, at first it is not he himself who is going through, but parents. After all, they understand perfectly well: if before the child spent all of his time with his mother, in a mode that is convenient for both of them, now he will have to get used to a completely new environment, new food, new requirements, which brings a huge change in his life. No matter how the parents prepared for this moment, accustoming the child to a regime close to Sadikovsky, changing the menu and conducting training sessions, it is impossible to recreate the conditions of a pre-school institution in his home. How can we do that these changes do not become the strongest stress for crumbs? After all, the hatred that has arisen in the early days of kindergarten, will determine the attitude of the baby to stay in institutions for children for months, if not years ahead.
Psychological settings for the child

Do not leave the child in the kindergarten, like a thing, hurrying to leave as soon as possible - this will cause him a shock and further protest, which will be difficult to overcome. It is important for a kid to feel safe and to be sure that he was not abandoned there. It must be morally prepared by stories about where he will go, what he is waiting for there. Usually children tend to communicate with peers, so this conversation can be an incentive for the desire to get there.
In the first days in kindergarten, it is better to leave the child only until lunchtime: he will be able to communicate with other children, play new toys for him, but will not have time to miss his mom and dad. In some kindergartens it is allowed that parents spend some days in the field of view of the baby. So he will perceive such a trip to the kindergarten as an ordinary walk with his mother - this is also an alternative option for more successful adaptation of crumbs.
