The art of raising children
Each parent wants to raise from his child a well-educated person, an independent, uncommon, purposeful person. This process is very complex and continuous. It must be understood that a child needs to learn a large amount of information for development, in this child it is necessary to help. And the help should begin already from the birth. The art of education is the process necessary for the future well-being of the child, his parents and society as a whole.
All teachers and parents know that children learn best on another's example. If, say, a child is told not to raise his voice while talking, but at the same time she constantly screams herself, then convincing the baby in the opposite is extremely difficult.
Imitation of the adult
At the subconscious level, the child develops the desire to imitate the adults. In such a situation, there is often a misunderstanding, a discrepancy between the required and the actual, which will constantly give rise to resistance. A competent approach to education helps to grow an independent, strong personality, and in the future to avoid many difficulties and problems. And to form a whole person is the art of education.
Teachers, psychologists, philosophers, religious leaders have their views on this process. And often they are the opposite. Today in the world of a huge flow of information it is very difficult to navigate and choose the right path. In addition to love and acceptance of the child as it is, parents need additional knowledge:
- About psychophysiological features of different age groups. It is necessary to know what can be demanded of the child, and that it is too early.
- About the process of education in the family. Analyzing the traditions of your family, you can bring something useful and apply to the child, or, conversely, some model of your behavior to adjust.
- It is important to understand that regardless of age the child is a person, and not the property of the parents. Therefore, independence is brought up from a small age.
It is worthwhile to understand: in the process of education there should not be contradictions, when the mother allows, and the father forbids, or vice versa. This leads to serious internal spiritual conflicts with which the child is not easy to fight, and subsequently they are poured into serious problems of an adult. It is a mistake to believe that an educated child is one who unconditionally obeys his parents.
The main task of parents is to help the child become a person, to reveal their talents and life potential, and not make it their own copy. This is the art of raising a child.
The problem of modern education
Educators and teachers note that parents today have completely ceased to deal with children and are interested in their upbringing. To which parents indignantly reply that this is completely wrong, because we read all the necessary literature on education, gave the child to the sports section, to dances, we hire a speech therapist.
This is the problem of modern education: parents, trying to give the child all the best, do not notice how they shift care to other people's people, while the basis of personality is laid in the family. And in this sphere, you can not shift all responsibility even to specialists: you need to invest your own soul here.
The Art of Education in the Family
The art of family education is that the child must understand: he is loved not for something, but disinterestedly, regardless of success in school or in another field. We, adults, understand that love for offspring is a matter of course, but they need to constantly prove this. The child requires constant attention and does this as best he can: good or bad deeds, hooliganism or stubbornness. And here it is very important to understand that emotional comfort for the child is above all. You do not need to evaluate the baby and his actions, he must be loved and perceived as he is.
Is it possible to spoil the child with love?
If this is really love, then it can not spoil the character of the child and grow out of him a selfish person. Parents who really love their children, will not indulge the whims and go on about.
It is in the family that the child gets to know for the first time with the concepts "good" and "bad", gets an idea of life and how to act in this or that situation. In the family, the child adapts to the society, which is why it is important that the baby has sisters and brothers.
There is no universal advice for each family on the proper education of children. After all, we need to take into account the quantitative and age composition, the social level of each individual family. But there are some recommendations that every parent needs to know:
- The child should be brought up in an atmosphere of love, warmth and goodwill.
- A kid, regardless of age and personal achievements, needs to love and appreciate him as a person.
- It is necessary to hear the children and help them develop their abilities.
- High demands can be made solely on the basis of mutual respect.
- Often the problem lies in the behavior of parents themselves, because children unconsciously copy close people.
- You can not focus on the shortcomings of the child, you need to concentrate on the positive aspects. Otherwise, complexes develop.
- Any training should be in the form of a game.
Makarenko insisted that parents should be very attentive to everything they say and do, and if they see that there is something in their lives that can harm the education of children, this something needs to be reviewed, changed and, if necessary , completely refuse.
"Pedagogy" - the word came to our lexicon from Greece, literally it is translated as "detovozhdenie" or the art of education. In Russia this concept appeared with the philosophical heritage of ancient civilization. Pedagogy as an art of education is part of the overall process of age development. This science studies and instills:
- ability to creativity.
Fundamentals of Pedagogy
The main task of adults is to transfer the accumulated experience to new generations. Pedagogy studies the education of man regardless of age. Knowledge of this necessary science helps to choose the optimal solution for each specific situation. But only in practice it is possible to answer what is pedagogy - art or science, although these concepts have long been unified. The real teacher understands that, without knowing the science well, it is impossible to realize the art of upbringing. And here the key moment is love and respect for a growing person.
The art of education is the most complex invention of man. It can not be separated from the process of obtaining an education, and it lasts the entire period of growing up. Educational tasks are multifaceted and extensive. It is during the learning process that the student develops habits, professional skills, aspirations, needs that correspond to or do not correspond to the norms of morality.
To this day, the pedagogical ideas of A. S. Makarenko are used in the development of education issues and serve as an important source of useful information. Formation of the individual is and is a continuous educational process.
What is the art of education?
It is impossible to give an unambiguous definition. Scientists have different meanings in this concept. What is the art of education, in their opinion? This is one of many components, among which the most important are:
- taking care of health;
- care for the material and spiritual well-being of the child;
- moral education;
- hardening of the spirit and a sense of responsibility and much, much more.
The future of humanity is now playing in the garden, sitting at the desk. It is very naive, sincere and, most importantly, entirely in the hands of adults. How parents and teachers of children will form, they will be in the future. And not only they, but the whole world in a few dozen years. The society that will build today's rising generation, we create by our own hands, adults.
Boris Mikhailovich Nemensky, a Soviet teacher, so formulated this idea: the school decides what will be rejoiced, and what people hate in 20-30 years. This is closely related to the world view of the future generation, which can not be full unless high morale is brought up. Today, attention is paid to the problem of practice and the theory of the aesthetic worldview. After all, this means of mental and moral growth, and therefore, the development of a spiritually rich person. Therefore, the art of raising children is a multifaceted and complex process, which must be given special attention.
