Police Day and Tax Police Day are important holidays in the life of the state
From year to year, on November 10, such a remarkable holiday is celebrated as the Day of employees of the internal affairs agencies of the Russian Federation, or, more simply, the Police Day. This important date serves as an excellent occasion for expressing deep gratitude and gratitude to representatives of this profession - real patriots and professionals in their field. Another important holiday is the Tax Police Day. It is scheduled for March 18 and is celebrated for 13 years already. Let's talk about these significant events in more detail.
November 1917 became the month of the adoption of the All-Russian Decree, on the basis of which the formation of a special commission for the creation of the militia took place. A few days later, the first patrols began to appear on the streets of the cities, designed to monitor the calm and order in those or other areas. The date of November 10 was a kind of birthday of the Russian militia. Its importance is underscored by the fact that the office for the protection of order arose during the time of Peter I and was called the Greek word "police", literally denoting "government." In the Soviet period, this holiday was celebrated every year on November 10 and was called the "Militia Day". On this day a variety of solemn events were held, and the date itself was considered especially revered.
After the renaming of the bodies that happened in 2011, the holiday began to be called "Police Day". This solemn event many representatives of this profession are forced to meet at the workplace, staying on duty and performing their daily duties aimed at helping the population. So, by accepting numerous wishes and congratulations on the Day of Police, they continue valiantly to fulfill their professional duty. These people, constantly risking their precious health and even their lives, deserve attention and warm words.
However surprising this may be, the Police Day in Russia is not alone. Do not forget about the special service designed to combat tax crimes and violations. The Tax Police Day was officially established by the President's Decree of 16 March 2000 and became a testament to the recognition of the serious importance of the tax police in the life of the state. But this unit is one of the youngest! Its foundations were laid in 1991 due to a sharp increase in crime - this year was the period of the establishment of the State Tax Service, and now - the Ministry of Taxes and Levies. For nine years of hard work, this unit was able to prove its consistency and effectiveness in combating economic crimes, thanks to which the second Police Day (this time taxation) was established. The holiday is celebrated on March 18.
Thus, the Day of Police, including tax, can be called a holiday of almost a national scale, because without these units the life of the population of our country would not be so calm and measured. No matter how we scolded our police sometimes, we can not fail to recognize the obvious fact that its work, first of all, is aimed at ensuring our own security.
