Celebrating International Animation Day
Lovely live pictures - cartoons! How much joy and warmth in them - they for all of us smell of childhood.
How animation was born
The history of the living pictures is ancient, as the world: attempts to revive the drawings are dated back to the 1st century BC. Chinese "Shadow Theaters" were popular in the second millennium AD.
In the middle of the XV century. wandering actors with mechanized images entertained the people in the squares, and in the 17th century a "magic torch" appeared that projected live pictures onto the glass.
Many attempts to revitalize the images testified to the special interest of people in this art form at all times.
Finally, the turn of the rich to the opening of the XIX century came. After many years of improvements and attempts, in Paris on October 28, 1892, Emile Renault first publicly demonstrated the luminous pantomime, which led the audience into raptures. The discovery of cinematographic technologies eclipsed the brilliance of the French invention, however many decades later it was this day that became a memorable date of animation for the whole planet.
In 2002, 100 years have passed since the first public display of the forerunner of E. Reno's animated cartoon, and French animators offered to celebrate the International Animation Day every year. Since then, October 28, the whole planet has paid tribute to the great art of animated films.
History of domestic animation
In the field of animation at the beginning of the 20th century, our compatriot - the ballet master of the Mariinsky Theater Alexander Shiryaev distinguished himself: in 1906 he became the creator of the world's first puppet cartoon. Now 12 moving dolls in the background of motionless scenery might seem primitive - what is there to look at? - but at that time it was a definite breakthrough in the animation.
Animated graphics began to develop in the USSR in the period 1924-1925 with the foundation of the studio "Kultkino". A decade later, in June 1936, a popular Soyuzmultfilm studio was opened in Moscow. Today it is difficult to find a person who is not familiar with the products of this studio: "Winnie the Pooh and all-all-all", "Kitten named Gav", "The Little Gnome" and other cartoons, loved from childhood.
Seventy years later, veterans of Soyuzmultfilm decided to immortalize domestic animated landmarks and open some animated technology secrets to cartoon aficionados. In 2006, the Animation Museum was opened, originally having the character of a traveling exhibition. Today it is in the All-Russian Exhibition Center and includes more than 5000 exhibits.
The International Animation Day in Russia has been celebrated since 2007. The first celebration was dedicated to the memory of Alexander Tatarsky - a talented animator, founder of the animation studio "Pilot". Who is not familiar with the funny and funny cartoon paintings "The Plasticine's Crow", "The Consequence of the Koloboks", "The Last Snow Fell"? Their author and director was A. Tatarsky.
In Moscow, the Great Cartoon Festival, which opened in 2014 for the eighth time, was timed to the world's animation festivities. This animated show lasts a dozen magical days, during which viewers can enjoy a wide variety of films from around the world.
The story of one boy
Most kids do not think how to create animated films - they think that cartoons have always existed. One boy was interested in how to get the favorite cartoon characters from the TV.
Becoming older, he received a wonderful toy camera as a gift: if you look at the screen and turn the knob, you can see the cartoon recorded in it! Of course, the camera was immediately disassembled, and the secret is open: inside the device was a miniature film with applied images. Since then, the curious boy was carried away by animation, turning the creation of cartoons into the work of his life.
Favorite cartoons in children's educational institutions
Creating a cartoon film is not easy: to make the cartoon hero just raise his hands, you need at least a hundred images. For a cartoon picture of 10 minutes of such drawings, about 15,000 are needed!
The International Day of Animation in the DOW is a suitable occasion to give children an idea of how the cartoons are created. This is not only an exciting activity for children, but also a creative process that has a beneficial effect on the child's ability.
The easiest version of the cartoon can be done with the child yourself: on each sheet of a thick album, pictures are drawn. For example, to represent a bud opening, on the first page you need to draw it completely closed, on the last one - completely open, and on the intermediate pages - different stages of this process. When you quickly flip through the painted album, the child will see the "animated picture" - this is the simplest cartoon. Experienced teachers in gardens and schools use a variety of technologies to create animated works:
Any material is suitable for travel to the fascinating world of animation - you just need to add a little imagination!
